Descrição
The biomass survey method adopts the visual strip-transect method (McCormick and Choat, 1987). Each station is based on the GPS positioning during the on-site diving site survey on that day. At each selected survey station, a survey line range of 50m×20m is set. The species and scientific names of the sea slugs were recorded through photographic records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Cobertura Geográfica
Kenting National Park is located on the Hengchun Peninsula at the southernmost tip of Taiwan's main island. It is surrounded by the sea on three sides, the Pacific Ocean to the east, the Taiwan Strait to the west, and the Bashi Strait to the south. The land area includes the platform cliffs and seaside areas from Guishan to the south to Hongchai in the west, Maobitou south of Longluan Lake in the south, Nanwan, Kenting National Forest Recreation Area, Eluanbi, and the Pacific coast in the east via Jialeshui. , north to Nanrenshan District. The sea area includes the Nanwan sea area and the sea area between Guishan, Maobitou, Eluanbi and Nanren Bay in the north, and within one kilometer from the coast. Kenting National Park is geographically located in a tropical climate zone, with warm temperatures all year round, tropical plants, clear waters and prosperous coral growth.

Cobertura Taxonômica
Nudibranchs are a group of diverse, beautiful and mysterious marine creatures, distributed in all oceans of the world. There are traces of nudibranchs from tropical equatorial waters to the south and north poles. Currently, there are about 3,000 known species in the world. Taiwan is surrounded by the sea, with moderate terrain and moderate temperatures. The shallow sea area has quite diverse aquatic ecology, and rich coral species and groups, forming the basis for stable biological reproduction and marine environment. It is the area with the highest biodiversity in India and the Western Pacific. Therefore It is also an important distribution range for many tropical species of sea slugs. "Nudibranch" is sea slug in English. It is a group of Molluscs whose back shell usually degrades or disappears. It is also called Nudibranchs. Generally, Western English readers often use "Nudibranchs" to represent all nudibranchs, and the target of this study is It is the general name for Molluscs (Phylum Mollusca), Class Gastropoda (Class Gastropoda), and Heterobranchia (Heterobranchia).

Descrição da Área de Estudo | The focus of this study was to obtain baseline data on sea slug species abundance and diversity in the Houbi Lake Marine Resource Protection Demonstration Area of Kenting National Park in Taiwan. |
Descrição do Design | The biofacies survey method uses the Visual Strip-Transects Method (according to McCormick and Choat, 1987). Each station is located according to the GPS position during the diving field survey on that day. Each selected survey station is , set up a survey line with a range of 50 m × 20 m. Use photography to record the types, body lengths and numbers of each sea slug in the survey line. Finally, PRIMER software and seven standards of Pearson (1994) will be used. For comparison, the data will be integrated for cluster analysis and qualitative analysis. |

Controle de Qualidade | Mollusca (Phylum Mollusca) is the second phylum of invertebrates, after arthropods. Molluscs are a group of invertebrates with a wide variety of forms. The most common one is Class Gastropoda. The body is divided into three parts: head, visceral mass and abdominal feet. The biggest feature is that the nerves and visceral mass rotate 90 to 180 degrees during development, and the visceral mass is hidden in the mantle secretion. Inside the spiral shell, the head has well-developed eyes and sensitive antennae, and the feet have an operculum. The appearance and size of snail shells vary greatly, ranging from as large as over 60cm, such as the giant French snail, to smaller ones less than 1mm. |
Descrição dos passos do método:
- Using the Visual Strip-Transects Method (McCormick and Choat, 1987), a survey line is set at each selected survey station each time, with a range of 50 m × 20 m, and the survey records are recorded within the survey line. Cluster analysis was performed on the species, body size and number of each sea slug.
